This workshop meets Friday and Saturday, August 25 & 26, 2023, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day with a lunch break
Learn how to design and construct a hollow form ring that is double sided and spins. We will design custom monograms and personal iconography so that each side of the ring is unique. We will use the Silhouette Curio's etching and cutting features (or similar machine like the Cricut) to etch precise designs. Using JJ's "cat scan" method, the ring is built in slices leaving a hollow core where rivets allow the ring to spin front to back. A modern take on an ancient Roman ring style.
A kit fee of $75 will be collected by the instructor during the workshop.
This workshop is part of the Metal Clay Artists Symposium and requires the purchase of the General Registration.
