This workshop meets Friday and Saturday, August 25 & 26, 2023, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day with a lunch break

In this 2-Day workshop we will delve into the endless possibilities and unique qualities of metal clay. You will construct a hollow form in an uncommon shape by dry construction, making it core-less and light-weight. Through a process of deconstruction and meticulous assembly the pendant will come together, encasing a beautiful glass cabochon. You will learn several techniques and tips while creating your one-of-a-kind work of art! After firing this multidimensional piece we will progress through several finishing stages completing our pieces with 22K Gold! You’ll leave with an exceptional piece you’ll be proud to wear home! Students are asked to bring: Basic Metal clay tool kit (Roller, non stick work surface, needle tool or awl, playing cards or depth measuring slats, glazed ceramic tile, Xacto knife, water mister, release agent, tweezers, sanding papers). Calibrated circle cutters

Registration fee: $340

A kit fee of $120 will be collected by the instructor during the workshop. Materials kit includes: 30G Fine Silver Clay, Glass Cabochon, CZ's in various sizes, Syringe clay and 22K Gold (to be shared in class)
