Sunday, August 24, 2025, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon (Please choose just one Sunday workshop. They're held simultaneously!)
An Introduction to Designing your work using Procreate and Amaziograph
This presentation is an introduction to software as a design tool using Procreate to create images for jewellery pieces and Amaziograph to easily create mandala designs and more. Both are available for Apple and android and I will be presenting on the Apple platform.
Procreate is an easy to use drawing tool with many features that help to make the design process straightforward. You can set a base for your design and create layers to build up ideas. You can import photos or drawings to incorporate as either a reference or in your piece.
Amaziograph is a fantastic programme which opens up the world of mandala creation. With this software you can create designs from very simple ideas to more complex ones. You can also change the grid to make mirror drawings, hexagonal designs and more.
This workshop is part of the Metal Clay Artists Symposium and requires purchase of the General Registration.
