Step up your jewelry-making skills with Carrie Story in this exclusive one-day workshop, designed for seasoned artisans ready to push their creativity to the next level. Discover how to craft a cohesive line of jewelry.

What You’ll Master:

Advanced Design Techniques: Explore the art of transforming simple ideas into a refined collection. Carrie will guide you through the process of creating a series of designs that evolve from a single concept, ensuring all pieces complement each other while showcasing unique artistic elements. You’ll learn how to extrapolate your own designs, creating fresh, cohesive pieces that build off a core idea. Carrie will demonstrate the work shown in the images. But students are encouraged to design their own, unique line of jewelry in class.

Technical Expertise: Deep dive into the properties of Project X Light Bronze. From complex texturing to precision shaping and carving, Carrie will demonstrate how to leverage the material's superior workability for intricate, professional-grade designs. Whether you want to experiment with surface treatments, fine detailing, or functional features, this class covers it all. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to manipulate this clay for high-end results.

Personalized Creations: While Carrie demonstrates a set of sophisticated earrings, you’ll be encouraged to push the boundaries and innovate. You’ll have the freedom to experiment with advanced textures, integrate mixed materials, or even design versatile pieces—think layered elements or convertible earrings that can transform from day to night. You will not only design a few earrings, you will design a full line of jewelry to be made immediately!

What’s Included:

  • 50 grams of Project X Light Bronze, giving you ample material to create a range of earrings, from sleek studs to bold statement pieces.
  • A selection of firable stones, embeddables and findings
  • Project X Design Journal – workbook to be used in class
