Sunday, August 29, 2027, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon (Please choose just one Sunday workshop. They're held simultaneously!)

What if your texture rollers could do far more than create an impression? If you've been working with metal clay for years, you probably have your favorite techniques, your go-to tools, and a pretty good idea of what a texture roller can do. This class is designed to challenge all three.

Join Carrie Story for a fast-paced, hands-on exploration of Hot Rollers that pushes beyond the expected. Experiment with unexpected pattern combinations, dimensional surfaces, optical effects, and sculptural applications that transform a simple impression into something entirely new.

We'll challenge the conventional way of thinking about texture, explore surprising possibilities, and discover how one roller can inspire an entirely different approach to design. No beginner basics. No predictable projects. Just two hours of experimentation designed to get your creative brain firing again.

Come prepared to question what you think you know about texture - and leave with a fresh perspective on what your tools can do.

All students who sign up for class will receive a FREE bottle of Liberation Spray.

This workshop is part of the Metal Clay Artists Symposium and requires the purchase of the MCAS General Registration.
