The hex symbolizes blessings: wisdom, mercy, power, majesty, justice, love. Imagine how you’d love metal clay art minus wet clay prep, tools, mess, dry-time and fragility. Embrace reality via Fold Lock techniques applied to fine silver Metal Leather -dry clay strips boasting structural integrity to pinch, punch, shove, tug... Be ready to create anywhere from here to there, on a plane or a train, yet it need not be far when in a car since it’s fast like a rocket with kits in your pocket! Expand your repertoire with Kim Struve’s Fold Lock techniques. Warning: experience with the complementary Metal Leather may further augment studio diversity and enlarge creation locations. We will cover Fold Lock: Fractal, Fractal Trap, Rapt Bail and Fixt Eyelet techniques; Metal Leather creation; select and set czs; embed findings; size rings; bend wire loops and hooks; work jump rings; troubleshoot; solve; and, discuss firing and finishing. You may wear your ensemble home.
